Elton Scifres: Meeting called to order 6pm. 15 members and 1 guest present were welcomed.

Announcements: Professional Head Shots offered per Chamber of Nacogdoches.

Business: Cole Gallery Show minor changes to guidelines as follows: 1). Member’s # on outside of envelope. 2). Inside of envelope includes up to six photos with an option of up to three old (taken prior to April 21, 2025). For every “old” photo, there should be a “new” photo included. On the the back of each photo, have name of photo, but not the name of the photographer. Have written on back whether photo is old or new, # of photo and your designated member # also on back. Fill out form given by Becky Fleck and include that as well inside envelope. Deadline for completed envelopes and photos to be turned in to Cole Center May 27, 2026.

Ron Thill initiated discussion regarding depth of Amazon frames and the need to attach cardboard to back of frames. May use fasteners or wire to hang frames.

Program: Guy Donham gave a very useful presentation on Portrait Photography, including a pamphlet and video discussing 5 point lighting.

Photo Challenge: “Rocks” with Becky Fleck managing members’ photo submissions. 1st place was Wendy Floyd, 2nd place was Jay Schwartz and 3rd place went to Susan Bruener. Wendy chose “Rust” for next month’s challenge. Please submit your challenge photo by 11 a.m. 06/22/26 to Becky Fleck.
