NPC Meeting Minutes
March 3, 2026
Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Elton Scifres.
17 members were present.
Business
2026 Gallery Show – Nature Theme
Submission Process
Member submissions are due to the Cole Center on or before May 27, 2026.
Submissions must be small enough to fit inside a standard-sized envelope.
Each member will be assigned a number.
Write only your assigned number and the photo title on the envelope to ensure anonymity.
On the back of each photo, write your assigned number, photo title, and whether the photo is new or old.
Do not include your name on photos or envelopes.
Juror Selection & Delivery
Juror selections (Weelynd McMullan and staff) will be ready for pickup by June 2, 2026.
Accepted framed photos must be delivered to the Cole Center on or before June 30, 2026.
Show Dates
Show opens: July 7, 2026
Opening Reception: July 10, 2026
Gallery Submission Rules
Images shown in previous years may not be resubmitted.
Members may submit up to six photos.
A maximum of three may be old photos.
Members may submit only old photos if submitting three or fewer.
Old photos are defined as those taken before April 21, 2025.
If six photos are submitted, at least three must be new.
All members who submit photos will have at least one accepted into the show.
After the Gallery Show ends, members may submit their photos to Susan Bruener for posting on Facebook.
Programs
An open date remains for the September program.
April Program: Jay Schwartz will present on Street Photography.
SAE – Nature Discussion
Presenter: Toni Roddey
Several potential Nature submissions were reviewed.
Members discussed whether each image met the criteria for a Nature photograph.
Photo Challenge – Macro Theme
